Job Summary

ACCO Brands is seeking a results-driven National Accounts Manager to oversee PowerA's business and sales across Canada and Latin America. As a global leader in video gaming accessories, PowerA requires a strategic and customer-focused professional to drive growth and achieve strong service levels.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary customer business lead for PowerA in two distinct territories: Canada and Latin America, managing interactions with distribution and sales partners, retail buyers, and marketing teams.
  • Develop and implement short and long-term strategic growth plans in each region, driving assortment recommendations and new product initiatives to achieve sales targets.
  • Oversee day-to-day business needs, ensuring timely delivery, providing exceptional customer service, negotiating contracts, and meeting vendor scorecard requirements.
  • Lead regular business reviews and product assortment reviews, collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs and manage account reporting.
  • Own the forecast for the assigned territory, working with demand planning, supply teams, and customer buying partners.
  • Be the internal expert on territories and account base, providing regular updates and representing retail needs in product development planning.
  • Manage company marketing activities through retail and distribution partners, including account budget, contractual and non-contractual spends, and promotional strategy.
  • Understand pricing complexities in each region, working with internal and external partners to ensure product line pricing is competitive and appropriate.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years' experience in sales or account management in a CPG, consumer electronics, or packaged entertainment category.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing business with retail or distribution partners via relationships, data-driven selling, and channel marketing implementation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively pitch plans and opportunities internally and to customers.
  • Proven track record of prospecting new business, opening new doors, and growing new retail and distribution customers.
  • Experience with forecasting, working with a range of inputs, and collaborating with demand planners on near- and long-term views.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, negotiation skills, and time management skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work closely with internal departments, including Product Management, Demand Planning, Operations, Channel Marketing, and Finance.
Requirements
  • French or Spanish language proficiency a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Travel to US/Latin America up to 20%.
