Environmental Permitting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Permitting Specialist to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As an Environmental Permitting Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in obtaining environmental permits and approvals for their projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage environmental permitting activities for energy sector projects, with a focus on the nuclear sector.
  • Develop and implement consultation and engagement programs with First Nations and Indigenous communities.
  • Manage external subcontractors and coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain environmental approvals.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of environmental assessment and planning projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members.
  • Interact with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:
