Estimated Salary Range

We offer an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of expertise required for this position.

Job Description: Director of Development

The Director of Development will be responsible for allocating resources, coordinating work across regions and departments, establishing financial and administrative controls, formulating promotional campaigns, and approving overall human resources planning.

This role requires excellent leadership skills, as well as the ability to represent the organization in official functions and negotiate with external partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of organizational policies and procedures, as well as the ability to create optimum working conditions for middle managers and executive staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Work Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments.
  • Financial Control: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns.
  • Human Resources Planning: Approve overall human resources planning.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Personal Suitability:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Awareness: Strong interpersonal awareness and team player skills.

In addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate will be a permanent employee who can work up to 37.5 hours per week in English.
