About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team at Home Hardware. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Direct and control daily store operations to ensure efficient and effective sales and customer service.
    • Manage and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
    • Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their roles.
  • Sales and Customer Service
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Manage store inventory, including ordering and receiving stock, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
    • Develop and implement processes to improve store efficiency and productivity.
    • Manage store budgets and financial reports to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail sales or management role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent full-time position working 30 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
