Job Title: Retail Salesperson

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Salesperson to join our team at Home Hardware. As a Retail Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, discuss their needs, and provide advice on merchandise.
  • Sales: Process sales transactions, prepare sales contracts, and maintain sales records.
  • Inventory Management: Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems.
  • Merchandise Preparation: Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work Environment: Retail store environment with regular exposure to cash handling and customer interactions.
  • Physical Demands: Prolonged standing, walking, and lifting of merchandise.
