Retail Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team at Home Hardware. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, evaluating performance, and planning for future growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Direct and control daily operations, manage staff, and assign duties.
  • Market Research: Study market trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine products and services to be sold, implement pricing and credit policies, and locate and procure merchandise for resale.
  • Marketing and Budgeting: Develop and implement marketing strategies, plan budgets, and monitor revenues and expenses.
  • Staffing and Supervision: Determine staffing requirements, recruit and hire staff, and conduct performance reviews.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in retail sales management.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
