This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week with opportunities for overtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and tax compliance.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other account reconciliations.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate tax returns and sales tax returns.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software, including MS Access, Excel, and Word. Proficient in data entry, record keeping, and financial analysis.
  • Personal Qualities: Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
