Accountant, Financial Systems Specialist

Pattison Food Group Ltd., a leading food and health products provider, is seeking a highly skilled Accountant, Financial Systems Specialist to join its Finance team in a dynamic role.

About the Role:

  1. Provide administrative support in maintaining and updating financial systems within PFG, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  2. Prepare journal entries, perform accounting duties, and monitor data input from other departments.
  3. Maintain and update reports, oversee year-end close process, and create new accounts, stores, and hierarchies.
  4. Coordinate and direct Accounts Payable/Receivable teams with data input activities.
  5. Adhere to regulatory reporting requirements, update and monitor general finance email inboxes, and facilitate monthly close procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in management information systems or a related field.
  2. 1 year of general ledger accounting experience.
  3. Knowledge of general ledger systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  4. Exposure to different ERP systems like Peoplesoft would be an asset.
  5. Working knowledge of Oracle/Essbase or other multidimensional database management systems would be an asset.

Compensation Details:

$58, $73,400.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
