Job Description:

Gracie Barra Kitsilano is seeking an experienced Strategic Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing organizational policies and programs.

About the Role:

This senior-level position requires a strong leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and a proven track record in strategic planning, sports and entertainment facilities, and human resources management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development: Collaborate with senior staff to establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Sales and Marketing: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Event Management: Monitor recreational, sports, or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Staff in various areas of responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Law (LLB, JD, BCL), or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior-level management position, preferably in the sports and entertainment industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer:
