We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Aid and Awards Representative to join our team at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. As a key member of our department, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to students, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information about financial aid and awards programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide front-line support to students, answering inquiries and resolving issues related to financial aid and awards programs.
- Review and process student applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Communicate with students, faculty, and staff to resolve issues and provide guidance on financial aid and awards policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of financial aid and awards services.
- Stay up-to-date with financial aid and awards policies, programs, and procedures to provide expert advice and support to students.
- Grade 12 plus completion of a 2-year post-secondary diploma in office administration and/or business administration.
- Two years of general experience plus one year of related experience working with student financial assistance programs or customer service experience in a fast-paced complex setting.
- General knowledge of awards programs, including familiarity with application processes for bursaries, entrance awards, scholarships, and awards programs.
