We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at 2ND WIND BREWERY AND EATERY. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue and build relationships
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our brand and attract new customers
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
