Residential Addiction Support Worker

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Casual Residential Addiction Worker to join our team. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling, allowing you to balance work and personal life.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Post Treatment Manager and be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing programming and lectures as per schedule;
- Facilitating groups and orientating new clients to the center and program;
- Transporting clients to essential appointments;
- Maintaining daily records and case notes;
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and the security of the center.
To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:
- A college diploma in addictions or a related field and 2 years of experience in mental health and addictions;
- Experience working with Anishinabek communities and providing individual and group-based treatment services;
- Ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Addiction Services Manager;
- A Class 'F' driver's license and access to a personal vehicle;
- A valid Standard First Aid/CPR Certificate;
- A Vulnerable Sector Search clearance; and
- Medical clearance and required immunizations.
This position offers a competitive salary of $18.06 per hour and a range of benefits, including an OMERS Pension plan, EFAP, and a chance to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
