At Teen Challenge Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Client Life Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time, 5-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

As a Client Life Assistant, you will be responsible for providing coordination of client care for those enrolled in our 12-month faith-based rehabilitation program. Your primary goal will be to promote an environment that is supportive, nurturing, healthy, and safe, while ensuring the physical needs of clients are met.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing admissions of applicants into the program, welcoming them, and administering all necessary forms and consents
  • Attending to legal matters, including communications with external legal parties
  • Enrolling and administering social service support programs available to clients
  • Ensuring timely client scheduling, communications, and coordination of off-site and on-site activities through our client database
  • Providing daily processing, communication, and coordination of client requests
  • Coordinating client appointments, approvals, transportation, communications, and scheduling
  • Overseeing client needs and requests, including bed assignments and dormitory needs
  • Coordinating client after-hours activities and client affairs as needed
  • Collaborating with staff to coordinate client activities and affairs

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintain confidentiality, and prioritize tasks accordingly. Experience working with vulnerable populations or in a similar role would be an asset.

We offer a competitive salary range of $25-$30 per hour, based on experience, expertise, and applicable education. This estimate is inclusive of Ontario provincial standards.
