Join Our Team as a Principal Research and Development Engineer

At Baylis Medical Technologies Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Research and Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for developing innovative medical devices that improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop novel medical devices for minimally invasive procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to commercialization
  • Support the development of intellectual property within the company
  • Contribute to research and development sustaining activities on commercial production lines
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering, with a focus on medical devices
  • Excellent mechanical engineering design skills
  • Strong hypothesis-driven experimental design and statistical analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing project goals
  • Strong interest in biomedical technology
