This role focuses on the conception and development of novel devices for minimally invasive procedures, including procedures in interventional radiology and vascular interventions.
Key Responsibilities:- Work on all elements of the Research & Development of novel minimally invasive devices, from concept generation through to commercialization.
- Support the development of intellectual property within the company.
- Support Research and Development sustaining activities as they arise on commercial production lines.
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years of related experience in engineering.
- Experience working in medical devices with focus on product development.
- Excellent aptitude for mechanical engineering design.
- Strong hypothesis-driven experimental design and statistical analysis skills.
- Ability to independently develop and adapt work plans based on vague or changing project goals.
- Strong interest in biomedical technology.
- Dynamic, flexible approach to work with a results-oriented attitude.
- Candidates must possess previous experience with the development of single use medical devices such as catheters, sheaths, guidewires, dilators, or balloon catheters.
