Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2189106 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our food service staff, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and other financial reports to ensure the efficient operation of our restaurant.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as establish work schedules and manage staff attendance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on customer service and quality food
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, physically demanding work, and attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude
