Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Cold Lake. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and beverages meet quality control standards and are presented in a visually appealing manner.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on food and beverage sales, inventory, and labor costs.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
