Job Title: Glass Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Tierdon Glass Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing glass and glazing systems in commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure precise fits
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring a watertight seal
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper alignment and function
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, using specialized tools and techniques
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, adhering to safety protocols
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations
Requirements:
  • Working at heights training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on safety and quality. You will be required to work at heights, in cold or hot temperatures, and in outdoor settings.
