Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Engineer to join our team at Chohan Property Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting economic analyses, environmental impact studies, and designing and planning structural steel fabrications. They will also act as project or site supervisor for land survey or construction work, conduct site visits, and confer with clients and other members of the engineering team to determine project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct economic analyses and environmental impact studies
  • Design and plan structural steel fabrications
  • Act as project or site supervisor for land survey or construction work
  • Conduct site visits to gather relevant information
  • Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team to determine project requirements
  • Develop construction specifications and procedures
  • Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations
  • Establish and monitor construction work schedules
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials
  • Interpret, review and approve survey and civil design work
  • Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects
  • Provide customer service
  • Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction project management
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Valid driver's license
