Operations Manager

We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the administrative services of our institution. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and experience in managing teams.
About the Role- This is a permanent position with a work term of 35 to 40 hours per week.
- The preferred language for this role is English.
- To co-ordinate administrative services, including records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, and other related tasks.
- To evaluate the operations of departments providing administrative services and make recommendations for improvement.
- To manage the operations of departments providing several administrative services, including planning, administering, and controlling budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies.
- To direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, or other administrative services.
- To direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within established frameworks.
- To interview, hire, and provide training for staff.
- To prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services.
- A college diploma, CEGEP certificate, or non-university certificate/diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication, and written communication skills.
- Judgement, organized, and values and ethics.
- Fast-paced environment and attention to detail.
- MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Our estimated salary range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
