About the Role
  • We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in bariatric care to provide expert clinical services to our patients.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, ordering, and interpreting diagnostic tests, as well as prescribing pharmaceuticals within their scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Autonomously diagnose and treat patients with complex bariatric needs
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique requirements
  3. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes
Requirements
  • Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse in the extended Class (Primary Health Care or Adult)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, long-term care, acute care, or continuing care
  • Strong knowledge of bariatric care principles, including community resources and crisis intervention strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise in program development, evaluation, and analysis of statistics
