Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Practical Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner in the Operating Room. This role will provide primary care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide comprehensive nursing care, including medication management and procedural support
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or equivalent
- Current Ontario registration with the College of Nurses
- BCLS certification
- O.R. certificate
- Minimum 2 years' experience in operating room setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compensation and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a salary of approximately $90,000-$110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan and opportunities for professional growth and development.
