We are seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our team at the Lakehead Social Planning Council in Thunder Bay, Ontario. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial aspects of our organization.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Your attention to detail and proficiency in Sage Accounting Software will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze financial data, including budgets and financial reports, to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage cash flow and oversee accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and present budgets, as well as manage payroll
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in a related field, such as accounting or finance
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of Sage Accounting Software and other relevant financial management tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including dental plan, healthcare plan, paramedical services coverage, vision care benefits, and more.
