Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mama Mia Italian Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply needs to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and interact with customers.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic environment.
