Job Title: Food Service Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Gate of India Cochrane Inc. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock and inventory.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing food order summaries for the chef.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is presented in a clean and appetizing manner.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
