Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Gate of India Cochrane Inc. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or culinary role.
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and ability to maintain high-quality food standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise and train staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
