Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Blue Sky Home Care Inc. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Assist with medication management and administration.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks.
  • Transport patients to appointments and activities.
  • Provide first aid and respond to emergencies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a healthcare aide program or equivalent experience.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Immunization records and a clean criminal record check.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
