Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Blue Sky Home Care Inc. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Provide transportation to appointments and outings
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Provide wound care and dressing changes
  • Assist with bowel and bladder care
  • Provide emotional support and counseling

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or a related field
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
