Job Title: Healthcare Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Blue Sky Home Care Inc. As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to healthcare professionals
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for patients
  • Transport patients to appointments and outings
  • Provide respite care for family members and caregivers

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or a related field
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
