We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Account Manager for the Defence Sector. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, creating and implementing strategic account plans, and identifying customer needs and proposing tailored IT solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our relationship with the Department of National Defence and the Intelligence space within Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Department of National Defence and Intelligence
- Creates and implements strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive growth within the assigned account
- Stays informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to the defence sector
- Identifies customer needs and proposes tailored IT solutions that address those needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably within the IT or defence sectors
- Legally eligible to work in Canada and must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Good knowledge of technology and the industry channel dynamics
