Director of Semiconductor Production

VueReal is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Semiconductor Production to oversee the high-volume manufacturing of MicroLED displays. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing production teams, optimizing semiconductor fabrication processes, and ensuring the efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production of MicroLED display technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead all aspects of semiconductor production that support MicroLED displays, including wafer fabrication and processing, display assembly, and packaging.
- Ensure that production meets or exceeds quality, yield, cost, and delivery targets.
- Develop and implement strategies for scaling production to meet market demands.
- Oversee production scheduling and resource allocation to optimize throughput and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, yield, and product quality.
- Collaborate with process engineering teams to implement advanced manufacturing techniques, automation, and process controls.
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in production processes and equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and utilization.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is required. A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing production in a high-tech environment.
- Extensive experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing.
- Proven track record of scaling production lines and improving operational efficiency, quality, and yield in semiconductor production.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire large production teams.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including epitaxy, lithography, etching, deposition, assembly, and packaging.
- Experience with process optimization methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
