Job Description

FREIGHT MASTERS LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a skilled Freight Forwarding Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our freight forwarding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the daily activities of our freight forwarding team, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to team members.
  • Coordinate and assign work tasks to team members, ensuring that deadlines are met and goals are achieved.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in freight forwarding or a related field.
  • Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) Certificate.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a client-focused approach.
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
