Job Description

FREIGHT MASTERS LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a skilled Freight Forwarding Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer equipment and machinery, resolving work problems, and providing technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Ensure the efficient operation of our freight forwarding operations, including the management of computer equipment and machinery.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Logistics Coordination: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure optimal productivity.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, excellent oral communication, judgement, organized, team player.
  • Work Environment: 40 hours per week, permanent position.
  • Language: English.
