Job Opportunity:

The ML6 Search + Talent Advisory team is excited to partner with a leading consumer goods company to find a Senior Marketing Manager. This role will play a crucial part in driving both short-term and long-term brand growth by building and executing strategic marketing plans, stimulating consumer demand, and achieving key business targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the portfolio, setting clear goals to drive brand growth and meet business objectives.
  • Lead the execution of brand-building initiatives, including advertising, consumer promotions, new product innovation, coupon activities, and website updates.
  • Leverage consumer and market insights to enhance demand and brand share, developing competitive strategies for sustained growth.
  • Collaborate closely with agency partners to create effective consumer communication strategies that drive engagement and brand equity.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activity, including advertising, packaging, and pricing, to ensure the portfolio stays ahead in the market.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities for new products while maintaining the profitability of existing brands.
  • Oversee the Advertising and Promotion budget and provide strategic input on budgeting, packaging changes, and innovation opportunities.
  • Engage with Sales, Trade Marketing, and sponsorship teams to align on key marketing initiatives and sponsorship programming.
  • Conduct the annual Business Review and communicate performance results to drive ongoing improvements in marketing strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, ideally at the Brand Manager level in CPG marketing.
  • Strong experience with Nielsen data and the ability to leverage consumer insights and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and prioritize multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and excite teams and partners around brand initiatives.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
