About the Role

Bethesda Home is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Leisure Program Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our recreation services team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising various programs and events that promote physical activity, recreation, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Coordination
    • Develop and implement programs that align with the organization's mission and goals
    • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, equipment, and supplies
    • Collaborate with program leaders and instructors to ensure high-quality programming
  • Supervision and Leadership
    • Supervise professional staff, program leaders, and instructors to ensure effective program delivery
    • Provide guidance and support to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage program budgets, including financial planning and reporting
    • Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to promote programs
    • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with organizational policies
  • Special Events
    • Coordinate special events, such as festivals, tournaments, and workshops
    • Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure successful event execution
    Requirements
    • Education
      • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
    • Experience
      • 1-6 months of experience in a related field
