Job Title: Network Support Technician

We are seeking an experienced Network Support Technician to join our team at CasCom, a leading Technology Service Provider in Northern Canada. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for monitoring, supporting, and managing various technology projects and installations at locations throughout Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and configure firewall and security appliances
  • Optimize and troubleshoot network systems, wired and wireless
  • Provide technical support for Windows and Linux servers, both physical and virtual
  • Support VOIP telephony and PBX systems
  • Develop and deploy technical projects for new and existing customers
  • Create technical documentation, including workflows and network diagrams
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with a support ticketing system
  • Experience in network routing, VPN systems, and VLAN configuration
  • Experience in virtualization, data and system backup and recovery, and enterprise email systems
  • Experience supporting corporate networks
  • Experience with Microsoft server management and support, including Domain and Active Directory configuration
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A+, Network+, Security+, MCSE, MCITP, MSCA, or CCNA certification
  • Experience with structured cabling best practices, fiber optic cabling, and hardware installations
  • LMR/Two-way radio experience
