Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diagnostic Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our team at Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Ultrasound Technologist to co-ordinate and perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric cases. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages, utilizing advanced imaging techniques and protocols.
  • Co-ordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict standards of quality and safety.
  • Develop and implement ongoing education and professional development programs to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited training program in Ultrasonography.
  • Certification as a Registered Ultrasound Technologist (RUT) or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $36.90 - $51.87 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for ongoing education and professional development.
