Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Services team at McMaster Children's Hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric cases, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized ultrasound examinations using state-of-the-art equipment
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety, adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with advances in technology and techniques
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
We offer a competitive salary range of $36.90 - $51.87 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a temporary full-time position until February 2025, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
