Job OverviewThis Ultrasound Technologist - Diagnostic Services position offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
The successful candidate will co-ordinate and perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric, and triage examinations as necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordinate and perform a range of ultrasound examinations
- Liaise with senior technologists and radiologists to ensure technical quality of procedures
- Work within Standards of Practice outlined by Sonography Canada
- Graduate of an accredited training program in Ultrasonography
- Current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Professional designation of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)
- Current registration with Sonography Canada preferred
- Foster a culture of patient and staff safety
- Support students and other learners
