About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Supervisor to join our team at 12695430 Canada Inc. As a key member of our bakery operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods, managing a team of baking personnel, and ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Supervise and coordinate the preparation and baking of dough, batters, and icings, ensuring that all products meet our quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Train and develop a team of 3-4 baking personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure efficient production.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and food service areas to ensure that all products meet our quality standards.
  • Staff Scheduling: Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods and maintain a fair and equitable work schedule.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and other machinery.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Certifications: Baker Trade Certification.
  • Language: English.
