About the Position

The Clinic Nurse is a key member of our multidisciplinary team, responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with opiate dependency. As a compassionate and caring individual, you will work closely with patients and their families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate professionally, ethically, and with integrity within the guidelines and standards of the Ontario College of Nurses.
  • Dispense and administer medications as delegated by a licensed Physician.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
  • Perform ECGs, venipuncture, urine drug screening, and other vital signs.
  • Administer injections and ensure proper documentation.
  • Communicate with Physicians regarding patient needs and changes in status.
  • Provide comprehensive program information to patients and prospective patients.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Previous experience in addiction treatment and/or a similar field.
  • A member in good standing with the College of Nurses in Ontario.
  • Completes yearly CNO Quality Assurance certification.
  • Provision of a recent and acceptable Criminal Reference Check.
