Branch Manager Opportunity at Nedco

Nedco, a leading electrical industry company, is seeking a highly skilled Branch Manager to join our team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with key customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring that products are available to meet customer demand while minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • College education plus 3-5 years of related experience in the electrical distribution industry or a combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience, with a proven track record of success in sales leadership.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial reports and develop strategies to meet/exceed fiscal plans and targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, with experience in sales and customer relationship management software an asset.
  • AS400 experience would be an asset, as would experience in the sale of electrical products/industry.
