Job Title: Branch Manager

Nedco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to join our Winnipeg location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, maintaining customer service standards, and ensuring the smooth operation of our branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and recommend sales strategies and marketing objectives to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Maintain and develop sales and profit objectives with assigned key accounts, ensuring strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain accurate customer service measurement criteria, taking corrective action to ensure compliance with customer service standards.
  • Prepare and manage work schedules to ensure adequate workflow and compliance with customer service standards.
  • Hire and manage personnel in the branch, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Promote a positive work climate and ensure the implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and resolve inventory discrepancies, recommending remedial action to resolve issues.
Requirements:
  • College education plus 3-5 years of related experience in the electrical distribution industry or a combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Sound business acumen to analyze financial reports and develop implementation strategies to meet/exceed fiscal plans and targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • AS400 experience is an asset.
  • Must have experience in the sale of electrical products/industry.
