Job Summary:

The Branch Manager will be responsible for leading the Winnipeg branch of FLOFORM Countertops, a leading manufacturer and installer of premium surface countertops. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with experience in light manufacturing and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to drive customer account base sales growth
  • Manage expenses and develop sales plans within approved budgets
  • Talent development and retention, including assessing, attracting, training, and retaining top talent in the local marketplace
  • Implement relevant employee training and budgeting effectively to increase overall productivity
  • Manage daily operations, including customer service and finance activities, and make improvements as needed
  • Propose and roll out changes and/or new initiatives to support company goals
  • Prepare departmental reports and complete employee administration

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience with a strong sales and marketing background
  • Understanding and/or experience in light manufacturing an asset
  • Post-secondary education, BA preferred
  • Advanced computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products and ability to learn other software programs
  • Awareness of accounting principles an asset
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy, efficiency, and respect
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coach, train, and develop employees
  • Valid driver's license
