Operations Manager, Land Development and Municipal Engineering

WSP Canada is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Land Development and Municipal Engineering team in Windsor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for strategic growth, staff development, client management, business development, and project delivery for the Southwest Ontario region.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning to increase market share for WSP in Land Development and Municipal Engineering
- Build and lead a high-performing team in the Windsor office
- Develop and mentor staff to achieve business objectives
- Business Development with existing and new clients, including proposal preparation and cross-selling with other disciplines
- Oversee project management to ensure client expectations and WSP standards are met
- Act as a liaison between clients and approving authorities for project approvals
- Manage project finances and ensure financial management of projects
- 10+ years of experience in a consulting environment focused on Windsor land development projects
- Extensive project management experience on land development and municipal engineering projects
- Registered as a P. Eng. in Ontario
- Expert knowledge of the land development approvals process in Ontario, with emphasis on the Windsor region
- Strong client management skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong financial and project management skills
- Valid driver's license in Ontario
- Well-developed network within the land development industry
