Operations Manager, Land Development and Municipal Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering team in Windsor, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives, building and managing a high-performing team, and delivering projects that meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to increase market share for WSP in Land Development and Municipal Engineering.
- Team Leadership: Build and manage a team of professionals in the Windsor office, providing guidance and support to ensure team members are equipped to deliver high-quality projects.
- Project Delivery: Oversee the management of projects from conceptual planning to construction management, ensuring client expectations are met and WSP standards are upheld.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing proposals and services contracts to drive growth.
- Client Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that meet their expectations.
- 10+ years of experience in a consulting environment focused on land development projects.
- Extensive project management experience on land development and municipal engineering projects.
- Registered as a P. Eng. in Ontario.
- Expert knowledge of the land development approvals process in Ontario, with emphasis on the Windsor region.
- Strong client management skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong financial and project management skills.
- Valid driver's license in Ontario.
- Well-developed network within the land development industry.
