Job Title: Senior Project Manager, Construction
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager, Construction to lead our high-rise and multi-residential construction projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex construction projects, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the construction process, including defining project scope, identifying critical path, and leading timing of each construction stage
* Prioritize, plan, and coordinate potential risks and technical challenges
* Determine resources required to ensure all aspects of the project are managed appropriately
* Lead design and coordination meetings
* Liaise with partners, consultants, construction management team, building trades, building department, and municipal staff
* Responsible for financial monitoring of the project, including forecasting, keeping the team informed of schedule progress, design changes, and potential construction overruns
* Coordinate all aspects of development and permit applications, drawings, and documents prior to permit submission
* Manage consultant working drawing groups and meetings
* Conduct project reviews and create/generate reporting as required
Requirements:
* Strong leadership and organizational skills with proven ability to lead and manage a project team
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Excel
* Demonstrated ability or aptitude analyzing drawings for site, building, and suite plans
* Resilient and works well under stress and pressure to meet deadlines
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years' experience in Hi Rise/Multi Residential construction
* A university or college degree in a related field: planning, engineering, architecture, or construction management or equivalent experience
Physical Demands:

* Frequently required to sit; talk; and hear.
* Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop; kneel; or crouch.
* Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
* Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
* The employee will work in an office environment with occasional visits to construction sites.
* The employee will be required to travel to construction sites and meetings.
