Alta Material Handling is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Dorval, QC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for your territory to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of your assigned territory, including identifying key accounts, prospecting for new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and offering solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Forecast sales volumes and track sales performance within your territory. Provide regular reports to management on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a coordinated approach to sales and customer support within your territory.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends within your territory to identify opportunities and threats. Use this information to adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed.
Requirements:
  • At least five years' experience in a similar equipment sales role dealing with senior business decision makers in the market.
  • Experience managing a high volume of accounts.
  • A driven, hardworking account manager who brings a positive attitude to the workplace and places customers first.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Sales and Account Management training is an asset.
