About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shift Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless operations within our restaurant.

Job Summary: As a Shift Manager at Burger King, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating food preparation staff, training staff, estimating ingredients, and maintaining quality control standards. Your key responsibilities will include task management, staff supervision, customer service, record-keeping, and report preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and Staff Supervision: Establish work schedules and supervise staff to ensure efficient operations and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  • Hiring and Performance Management: Hire food service staff and manage their performance to meet business objectives.
  • Quality Control: Maintain quality control standards by inspecting food preparation, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record-Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Tray Assembly: Supervise and check assembly of trays to ensure they meet quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in food preparation or a related field is preferred.
  • Work Environment: On-site work is required; no remote option is available.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks is expected.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication, and flexibility are essential.
