Restaurant Operations Assistant Manager
Firehousesubs Guelph is seeking a skilled and motivated Restaurant Operations Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate daily restaurant operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Plan and organize daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
- Organize and maintain inventory and supplies.
- Ensure that customer complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Safe Food Handling certificate.
- MS Office skills.
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
